Mckenna Grace uses method dressing for Hunger Games press tour

Actress Mckenna Grace is utilizing method dressing to promote the upcoming film “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.” Under the guidance of stylist Molly Dickson, Grace has incorporated various references to the franchise's history and iconic characters into her press tour wardrobe.

During an appearance on the “Today” show, Grace wore an aquamarine dress with puffed sleeves and Betsey Johnson archival heels, a look intended to nod to the character Rue from the original 2012 film. Other notable fashion moments include a custom Monique Lhuillier recreation of Katniss Everdeen’s wedding dress from “Catching Fire,” worn at an event in Paris, and a custom Mônot gown at the Academy Museum Gala that referenced Jennifer Lawrence’s 2011 Academy Awards red carpet look.
