Mckenna Grace honors Hunger Games legacy at Paris exhibition
Actress Mckenna Grace attended the opening of the “Elegance Is Authority: The Story, Style, and Power of Panem” exhibition at the Musée Rodin in Paris on Tuesday, October 6. To honor the franchise, Grace wore a recreation of the iconic wedding dress worn by Katniss Everdeen in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.”
The gown, designed by Monique Lhuillier, featured a white tiered tulle skirt and a fitted bodice with shimmering silver appliqués designed to evoke wings. Grace was joined at the event by co-star Joseph Zada, who wore a coordinating gray suit.
The exhibition serves as a promotional event for the upcoming prequel film, “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping,” which features Grace in the roles of Maysilee and Merrilee Donner. The original film costume was famously designed by Trish Summerville in collaboration with Tex Saverio.
