McKenna West faces custody lawsuit from biological son's father

McKenna West is facing a legal dispute in Alaska filed by Robert Gross, the father of her biological son, Cassius. Gross is seeking sole decision-making authority regarding their son, who was born in 2021.

In court filings, Gross alleged that West is not mentally stable enough to make major decisions for the child. He further claimed that West moved the child to Texas to avoid legal issues in Alaska and has not returned. Gross has requested that West’s access to their son be limited to supervised visits.

This legal challenge arrives as West is already involved in a separate, high-profile lawsuit regarding a surrogacy arrangement. In that case, biological parents Nasheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed allege West breached their agreement by refusing to terminate a pregnancy after a scan identified a rare heart defect in the fetus. While custody of the surrogate child has been granted to the biological parents, the dispute over West’s actions continues.
