McLaren expands into fashion through student runway show and PUMA collection

McLaren is expanding its presence in the lifestyle and fashion sectors through two distinct initiatives. In collaboration with Central Saint Martins and Dell Technologies, the team hosted the ‘Designed to Race: Front Row’ fashion show at its Woking Technology Centre. The event featured 12 avant-garde runway looks created by 46 fashion students, reinterpreting six decades of motorsport history through themes such as the era of James Hunt, Ayrton Senna’s dominance, and modern telemetry-inspired designs.

Simultaneously, PUMA has launched the McLaren Mastercard F1 Lifestyle Collection. Inspired by the Singapore Night Race, this capsule collection moves away from the team’s traditional papaya orange, utilizing a white-and-blue palette. The collection incorporates Southeast Asian weave patterns into contemporary streetwear, including varsity jackets and jerseys. The line is designed for everyday wear and is available in select markets, including Malaysia.
