McLaren opens final orders for 750S ahead of 2027 production end

McLaren has opened final orders for the 750S supercar, announcing that production for the model will conclude in 2027. This move marks the end of a decade-long cycle that began with the 720S in 2017.

The 750S, which launched in 2023, features a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 750 cv and a dry weight of 1,277 kg. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 330 km/h. The model represents the final chapter for the manufacturer’s current V8 internal combustion platform without electrical assistance.

As production nears its end, the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) division will focus on providing highly customized specifications for the final units. While the 750S platform also supported limited editions like the 765LT and the 200-unit 788HS, the company has not yet announced a successor or the powertrain for a future model.
