McLaren plans upgrades to address Formula 1 slump

McLaren team principal Andrea Stella has confirmed that the British Formula 1 team will introduce significant upgrades to the MCL40 during the upcoming races in Brazil and Las Vegas. The team is currently attempting to recover from a recent slump in performance that has seen them slip to fourth in the constructors’ championship standings.

Following a period of dominance earlier in the season, McLaren has struggled to reach the podium in recent rounds. The team will bring minimal updates to the Mexico City Grand Prix, focusing instead on more substantial technical packages for the São Paulo Grand Prix and the Las Vegas Grand Prix to regain competitiveness against rivals such as Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes.
