McLaren Racing hosts Formula 1 event at Athens Olympic Sports Complex

McLaren Racing hosted the ‘Allwyn x McLaren Racing: Live in Athens’ event at the Olympic Sports Complex (OAKA) in Athens, Greece. This event marks the first stop in a new global series of events organized by Allwyn and McLaren Racing to bring the Formula 1 experience closer to fans outside of traditional Grand Prix settings.

Two-time Formula 1 World Champion Mika Häkkinen drove the historic McLaren MP4/6, the car used by Ayrton Senna to win his third and final world championship in 1991. The vehicle features a 3.5-liter Honda V12 engine producing approximately 725 horsepower. Alongside this historic model, the modern McLaren MCL39 was also showcased.

The event included fan engagement activities such as simulators and opportunities to see the team's current technology up close.
