McLeod's Daughters to receive reboot on Stan in 2027

The iconic Australian television drama McLeod's Daughters is set to receive a reboot, scheduled to air on Stan in 2027. The original series, which premiered on the Nine Network on August 8, 2001, followed half-sisters Claire and Tess McLeod as they inherited the cattle station Drover's Run.

Over eight seasons and 224 episodes, the show became a significant cultural staple in Australia, winning eight TV WEEK Logie Awards and ranking highly in viewer polls. The production was filmed on location at a historic property in Kingsford, South Australia.

Cast members have reflected on the series' impact and their experiences filming in remote locations. Actors Myles Pollard and Aaron Jeffery noted the camaraderie built during production, while the cast recalled the physical preparation required for certain memorable scenes.
