Artificial Intelligence: Professional Skills and Corporate Risks

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence into the workplace is driving a shift in required professional competencies. According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, AI and big data are among the fastest-growing skills demanded by 2030. Beyond basic tool usage, professionals are increasingly required to master prompt engineering, critical analysis, and the ability to validate AI-generated information to ensure accuracy.

However, the unregulated use of AI presents significant corporate risks. In Brazil, a Thomson Reuters study found that 38% of professionals use AI tools without company authorization. Furthermore, research by SAP and Oxford Economics indicates that 43% of Brazilian companies have reported data leaks or intellectual property exposure linked to such tools. Legal experts note that under the Civil Code and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), employers may be held liable for data breaches caused by employees using unauthorized AI platforms.

In the educational sphere, initiatives like Google Cloud’s Capacita+ are working to democratize AI agent development, allowing individuals without programming experience to build functional applications using technologies like Gemini.
