MCs face heavy rain while hosting ‘To quoc trong tim’ concert

MCs Nguyên Khang, Phí Linh, and Vũ Mạnh Cường faced significant challenges while hosting the ‘To quoc trong tim 2026’ concert in Ho Chi Minh City on August 23. Heavy rainfall during the event at Van Phuc City caused scripts to become soaked and torn, making it difficult to introduce delegates in the correct order.

Despite the downpour, the hosting team managed to improvise by relying on their memorized information and coordinated teamwork. Nguyên Khang noted that the rain was so intense that visibility was limited to a ‘white screen’ upon appearing on stage. The hosts also had to manage backstage issues, including water flooding the stage basement and needing to change into backup clothing.

The hosts received praise on social media for their professionalism. Nguyên Khang expressed deep emotion regarding the audience's enthusiasm, noting that spectators remained standing and participated in the national anthem despite the heavy rain.
