McVitie’s launches new Christmas Penguin chocolate bar in UK

A new festive Christmas Penguin chocolate bar has launched in UK supermarkets. Inspired by the McVitie’s Penguin biscuit, the seasonal snack consists of milk chocolate with a chocolate cream centre and crunchy biscuit pieces. The product is available at retailers such as Morrisons.

The launch is part of McVitie’s largest Christmas range to date, which includes the Tasties Festive Selection, the Victoria Classic Selection, and the return of Gingerbread Flavour Milk Chocolate Digestives. Due to rising cocoa costs linked to climate pressures, parent company Pladis has updated the labelling of McVitie’s Penguin bars to “chocolate flavour” rather than “chocolate”.

Additionally, the Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp has returned for the holiday season. This limited-edition bar is being sold at various retailers, including Tesco, Morrisons, Ocado, and Iceland.
