MDA Space posts 34% revenue jump while supporting Canada’s Canadarm3 lunar mission

MDA Space Ltd. said it will help the Canadian Space Agency repurpose the Canadarm3 system for the Artemis program’s lunar surface operations. CEO Mike Greenley praised the agency’s plan, noting the technology’s four‑decade legacy in space robotics and the company’s readiness to provide surface logistics for a sustained human presence on the Moon.

In its second‑quarter report, MDA Space recorded a profit of $27.9 million, with revenue rising 34 percent year‑over‑year to $498.6 million. Adjusted earnings were 36 cents per diluted share, essentially flat from the prior year, while net income per share fell slightly to 20 cents.
