Médina-Thiaroye Kao family violence leaves multiple injured

A violent series of family altercations occurred in Médina-Thiaroye Kao, within the Yeumbeul-Sud commune, involving multiple brothers.

According to reports, a young man identified as Kh. Ndiaye allegedly attacked two of his brothers with a knife. The most recent incident took place on a Sunday morning, during which Kh. Ndiaye was reportedly struck in the arm with a machete by his 34-year-old brother, S. M. K. Ndiaye.

Police investigations revealed that the confrontation followed a previous violent episode on the preceding day, when Kh. Ndiaye allegedly attacked another brother, B. Ndiaye, with a knife.

Emergency services responded to the Sunday incident, evacuating Kh. Ndiaye to the Dalal Jamm Hospital in Guédiawaye and his brother to the Hôpital Principal de Dakar.
