Médio Piracicaba hosts diverse cultural and productive festivals

The Médio Piracicaba region in Brazil is hosting a diverse series of cultural and productive events throughout September. These festivals, fairs, and exhibitions aim to highlight local traditions such as gastronomy, agriculture, livestock, and handicrafts, while boosting regional sectors including tourism, commerce, and services.

In São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo, the 7th Gastronomic Festival is entering its main phase. The event features musical performances, including a show by Wilson Sideral, and the 1st Antique Car Meeting. In João Monlevade, the Popular and Solidarity Economy Fair is transitioning from a monthly occurrence to a permanent weekly event to better support local producers, artisans, and family farmers.
