Me Diste de Comer Foundation requests urgent donations in Ciudad Guayana

The Me Diste de Comer Foundation, which has operated for 27 years in Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela, is issuing an urgent plea for donations to sustain its social work. Since its establishment on August 14, 1999, the organization has served approximately 2.5 million lunches to vulnerable populations.

The foundation currently operates three dining centers: the main headquarters in the Sagrada Familia parish of Puerto Ordaz, and two additional locations in Brisas del Paraíso and San José de Chirica in San Félix. These centers provide meals to roughly 300 people every weekday.

Director Carlos Corinaldesi has requested assistance from both the public and private sectors for essential supplies, including corn flour, rice, pasta, oil, and grains. The foundation is also seeking cleaning products, toiletries, over-the-counter medicines, clothing, and footwear to continue its mission of providing both nutritional and spiritual support.
