MEAC announces 2026 football schedule and Delaware previews roster
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has announced its 2026 football television schedule for the MEAC Network. The broadcast season begins on August 27, 2026, with Delaware State hosting Stony Brook, followed by Norfolk State hosting Winston-Salem State on August 29. The network will stream over 100 live events annually, including regular-season games and championship events.
In preparation for the 2026 season, the University of Delaware football team is highlighting its positional units. The running back unit is led by Recruiting Coordinator and Running Backs Coach Xavier Dye. The team returns starting running back Jo Silver, who was previously named to the Doak Walker Award Watchlist and earned multiple All-CUSA honors. Other returning players include Viron Ellison Jr., Jared Porter, and Greg Spiller. The roster also features new additions such as transfer Kaderris Roberts and freshman NaKeem Powell.
