Meadows Challenge cross country meet set for Princeton

The Meadows Challenge cross country meet is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, at the Princeton XC Course in New Jersey. The event features various collegiate programs, including host Princeton, Duke, Providence, Villanova, and Texas A&M.

Syracuse University enters the competition following recent successes at the Harry Lang and Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitationals. The Syracuse men's squad is currently ranked No. 9 in the USTFCCCA Poll, while the women's team recently secured a victory over No. 10 Penn State. The men will compete in the 8k distance, and the women will compete in the 6k distance.

Arizona State University also participates in the challenge. The Sun Devil women, led by Kelli Gaffney, follow a strong debut at the Dave Murray Invitational where Gaffney won the 4k. The Sun Devil men, led by Tyler Daillak, will compete in their first 8k of the season.
