MEC Idiomas launches free language learning platform

The MEC Idiomas platform has been launched to provide free access to foreign language education, specifically offering English and Spanish courses. The program covers levels from basic to advanced, following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1 to C2).

Users can access the service via a mobile application available on Google Play and the Apple Store. The platform includes proficiency placement tests, level-based courses, and oral production activities. To assist with learning, the application utilizes artificial intelligence to answer questions and facilitate conversation practice through the ‘Fale e Pratique’ feature, which uses AI-generated audio to help students develop pronunciation and listening skills.
