Meccha Chameleon hits 10 million sales and adds Turkish language support
Independent developer Meccha Chameleon launched on Steam on 10 June and quickly went viral, driven by easy mechanics, low price and streamer exposure. Sales climbed to 5 million by 20 June, 7 million by 22 June and surpassed 10 million within two weeks.
A few weeks after release the game received a Turkish language update, enabling the interface and in‑game text to be displayed in Turkish. The addition was aimed at expanding its growing Turkish player base, which had already placed the title among the country’s best‑selling games.
The rapid adoption and localisation illustrate how small‑studio titles can achieve global reach through social media and targeted language support.
