Meccha Chameleon hits 7 million copies sold worldwide

The multiplayer hide‑and‑seek paint game Meccha Chameleon, developed by lemorion_1224, launched on PC via Steam on June 9, 2026. Within its second week it surpassed seven million sales, reaching the milestone on June 23.

The game recorded a peak of 340,534 concurrent players, with more than 20,000 users online on its first day. Players have used the title’s paint‑blending mechanics to recreate famous artworks, including Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, on custom maps shared through the Steam Workshop. An update (version 1.7.0) added a new Osaka map and a reporting feature.

Meccha Chameleon’s rapid sales and vibrant community activity have placed it among the most successful recent “friendslop” titles.
