Mecha Chameleon leads Japanese Steam chart, hits 1 million sales

On June 15, 2026 the Japanese Steam sales ranking placed the indie hide‑and‑seek title “Mecha Chameleon” (lemorion_1224) at the top spot, propelled by its camouflaging gameplay and strong uptake by streamers, YouTubers and VTubers. The game surpassed the 1 million‑copy sales mark. The second‑place position was taken by Xbox Game Studios’ Forza Horizon 6, while Square Enix’s FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE ranked third, both benefiting from sizable discount promotions. Other titles appearing in the top ten included KURO GAMES’ free‑to‑play Wuthering Waves, Valve’s Counter‑Strike 2, Electronic Arts’ Apex Legends and several discounted releases from Capcom and Square Enix.
