Mechanism Capital transfers 7 million ENA tokens to KuCoin

Mechanism Capital reportedly transferred approximately 7 million Ethena (ENA) tokens to the KuCoin exchange. This movement occurred shortly after the firm announced its Series A investment in Ethena, where it stated, “We invest where the next paradigm begins.”

While exchange deposits can precede token sales, it has not been confirmed if the firm has executed any actual sells. Market indicators from CryptoQuant showed seller dominance in both spot and futures Taker Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD), suggesting aggressive selling activity.

In contrast, derivatives data from Coinglass indicated a bullish bias among some traders. The OI-weighted funding rate was positive at 0.0032%, and Binance top trader long/short ratios stood at 1.59, with long positions accounting for 61.39% of accounts. At the time of reporting, ENA was trading near $0.1911, facing resistance near $0.2736 and testing support at $0.1870.
