Mechernich announces new location for autumn fair

The town of Mechernich has announced that the autumn fair (Herbstkirmes) will take place from September 4 to September 6. Following the cancellation of the spring edition, local officials have secured a new location for the event.

Due to planned demolition and construction at Bleibergplatz, Mayor Michael Fingel organized a round table with local associations, administration, and institutions to find an alternative site. The fair will now be held in a compact area encompassing Bergstraße and the town hall square (Rathausplatz), featuring attractions such as carousels, a shooting gallery, and children's rides.
