Mecklenburg Lake District seeks volunteers for garden project

An old parish house located in the Mecklenburg Lake District, near Müritz National Park in northern Germany, is seeking volunteers to assist in recovering a local vegetable garden. The property is part of an emerging Buddhist retreat project.

In exchange for 16 hours of work per week, volunteers receive private accommodation, breakfast, and lunch. Participants are also provided with laundry services, bicycle access, and airport pickup. The role involves physical tasks such as preparing soil, weeding, pruning, and harvesting, though no prior gardening experience is required. For those working remotely, the site offers fast internet access and the option to request a desk and chair in the room.
