Medan City wins best TP2DD award for regional revenue digitalization

The Medan City Government has been named the best city in the Regional Digitalization Acceleration and Expansion Team (TP2DD) category. The award recognizes the administration's efforts to expand the digital ecosystem in the capital of North Sumatra.

Key drivers of this achievement include the digitalization of regional revenue management through the development of ‘smart tax’ and ‘Qresto’ (Quick Response Electronic Splitting System For Tax Optimization). These tools have made local tax management more transparent and digitally integrated.

To ensure the sustainability and legality of this digital transformation, the city government has issued several Mayor Regulations (Perwal). These measures have reportedly improved financial governance efficiency and accountability while significantly increasing regional original income (PAD).
