Medaro Mining reports high-grade REE results at Bastnäs Project
Medaro Mining Corp. has announced highly promising assay results from rock chip sampling at its Bastnäs Project, a rare earth element (REE) project located in the Bergslagen mining district of central Sweden.
During the summer of 2026, 218 rock samples were collected across the project area, supported by high-resolution drone-based magnetic surveys. The results indicate a polymetallic character with total rare earth oxide (TREO) grades ranging from 9.7% to 33%. Specific samples also yielded significant concentrations of gold, copper, silver, gallium, and tungsten.
Notable findings include nine samples with over 10% TREO and neodymium-praseodymium oxide (NdPr) grades between 19% and 24%. The company plans to conduct further mineralogical work and core drilling in late 2026 to evaluate identified targets.
