Medef announces 2026 Economic Heritage Days with 1,000 companies

The Mouvement des entreprises de France (Medef) has announced the 2026 edition of the Economic Heritage Days (Journées du Patrimoine Économique), scheduled for October 2, 3, and 4.

Following a 2025 debut that involved 650 companies, the 2026 event has seen a significant increase in participation, with 1,015 companies across 39 territories set to open their doors to the public. The participating entities represent a broad spectrum of the French economy, including agricultural holdings, industrial sites, local businesses, service providers, and artisan workshops, ranging from very small enterprises to large international groups.

The initiative aims to strengthen the connection between citizens and the business world by providing insight into various professional sectors and local economic ecosystems. Additionally, the event serves as a strategic tool to address recruitment challenges by promoting the attractiveness of different trades amidst ongoing economic, ecological, and digital transformations.
