Medeiros Neto police apprehend teenagers in murder and drug probe

Police in Medeiros Neto have apprehended two 15-year-old girls as part of an investigation into an attempted murder and drug trafficking. The operation, conducted by the Tactical Employment Operational Platoon (PETO), targeted individuals suspected of monitoring a victim known as “Dil” during a shooting in the Olaria neighborhood.

During the search, officers seized 11 portions of a substance resembling cocaine, approximately 10 grams of crack, R$ 300 in cash, and two mobile phones. One of the teenagers reportedly admitted to being involved in drug sales for approximately two months and claimed a connection to a suspect known as “Gaúcho” or “Léo,” who is suspected of ordering the attempted murder.

The adolescents and the seized materials were transferred to the 8th Regional Police Coordination in Teixeira de Freitas for further legal proceedings.
