Medellín neighborhoods Simesa and La Calera draw residential investors
The Simesa district in Medellín’s El Poblado commune has been transformed from an old industrial zone into a modern residential area. It offers apartments, parks, restaurants, supermarkets, clinics, gyms and cultural spaces, and benefits from strong transport links via Avenida Regional, Avenida Las Vegas and the Industriales Metro station.
La Calera, also in El Poblado, sits on the city’s eastern slopes and combines high‑end apartments and exclusive houses with panoramic views and easy access to natural surroundings. The neighbourhood provides restaurants, malls, supermarkets, clinics, schools, hotels and gyms, and connects to the rest of Medellín through Las Palmas Avenue and the Transversal Superior corridor.
Both districts are highlighted for their high demand, limited land availability and continued price appreciation, making them attractive options for real‑estate investment.
