Medellín promotes tourism initiatives to attract Argentine travelers

Medellín is actively targeting Argentine tourists by promoting its unique combination of nature, art, gastronomy, and urban experiences. Known as the “city of eternal spring” due to its consistent temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, the city offers direct connections from Buenos Aires.

Tourism and Entertainment Secretary Ana María López highlighted the city’s lifestyle and local hospitality as primary draws. Recommended attractions include Guatapé, the Piedra del Peñol, Santa Elena, and various coffee and flower routes. Key cultural highlights mentioned include the Flower Festival in August, traditional Christmas lights in December, and local culinary staples such as bandeja paisa.
