The Feria de las Flores 2026 in Medellín runs from July 31 to August 9, drawing thousands of domestic and international visitors. Highlights include a six‑metre‑tall "silletero" puppet with moving parts, a giant guitar and a four‑metre "silleta" displayed in the Plaza Bosque of Los Molinos, a unique installation that celebrates the region’s floral heritage.

The traditional Silleteros Parade features more than 530 flower growers from Santa Elena and surrounding villages who carry elaborate floral arrangements on wooden frames, a practice that links rural agriculture with the city’s cultural identity.
