Media and printing institutions undergo inspections in Congo
Government officials and media executives are conducting inspections of state-run communication and printing facilities in the Republic of the Congo.
In Brazzaville, Minister of Communication and Media Thierry Lézin Moungalla visited the Imprimerie Nationale du Congo (INC). The visit aimed to assess progress made since the appointment of a new director general in August 2025. Formerly a colonial-era entity, the INC transitioned in 2021 to a public establishment with an industrial and commercial character (EPIC) under the tutelage of the Ministry of Communication.
Simultaneously, a delegation from Radio Télévision Nationale Congolaise (RTNC) traveled to Kananga to evaluate the provincial station. Led by André Ngindu wa Ngindu Dido, the delegation inspected technical rooms, editing suites, and thermal power plants. The mission noted the aging state of equipment and the difficult working conditions faced by staff, noting that the station requires comprehensive rehabilitation to align with the broader renovation goals set by RTNC Director General Sylvie Elenge Nyembo.
