Media mogul Željko Mitrović posts dog video and suspends TV staff over animal abuse claims

Željko Mitrović, owner of the Serbian television network TV Red, shared a video on Instagram showing himself petting his chihuahua and speaking to the dog. In the same post he announced that two TV Red personalities, Kristina Spalević and Kristijan Golubović, have been suspended pending investigation after accusations that they mistreated a small dog. Mitrović stated that animal cruelty would not be tolerated on his channels.

The announcement was made after the incident received attention on social media, prompting the network’s leadership to take disciplinary action.
