Media personalities engage in public disputes in Spain and Chile

Public disputes involving media personalities continue to draw attention in Spain and Chile. In Spain, Adriana Abenia and Tania Llasera remain in a heated conflict that began in 2022 over body diversity and advertising campaigns. The tension escalated following recent accusations by Abenia regarding Llasera’s conduct and alleged intimidatory behavior by Llasera’s representative. While the manager of Llasera denied these claims and released private messages suggesting Abenia sought to create artificial controversy for a podcast, Abenia has maintained her stance, criticizing the legality of sharing private messages.

In Chile, Daniela Aránguiz has spoken out following the expiration of a legal prohibition preventing her from discussing former deputy Maite Orsini. Reflecting on the legal dispute involving Orsini and Jorge Valdivia, Aránguiz described the period as “hard, cold, and cruel” but stated she has chosen to forgive. Despite her decision to leave the past behind, Aránguiz noted she would not want her children to associate with Orsini.
