Mediapro launches Replay sports channel to replace Gol

Mediapro has launched Replay, a new sports television channel designed to replace the long-running Gol channel. Following the cessation of Gol's broadcasts on September 30, Replay began operating on October 1 across several major pay-TV platforms, including Movistar Plus+, Orange, Vodafone, DIGI, Euskaltel, and Andorra Telecom.

Replay aims to target a younger audience with a strong emphasis on digital consumption and social media presence. While maintaining a heavy focus on football, the channel's programming includes one live LaLiga Hypermotion match per matchday, historical LaLiga matches, and international competitions such as the DFB-Pokal, the French women's Premier League, and the Chinese Super League.

Beyond football, the channel will feature combat sports through the 'Noches de Leyenda' format, showcasing historic fights from figures like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. The service is also accessible via web platforms and OTT services for various operators.
