Mediaset ends 'El precio justo' on Telecinco

Mediaset has announced the end of production for the game show 'El precio justo' on Telecinco. The decision is attributed to budgetary constraints and low viewership in its midday slot, where it struggled to compete with reruns of 'La ruleta de la suerte'.

While new episodes will no longer be recorded, the program will continue to air its remaining scheduled episodes during weekend midday slots, hosted by Carlos Sobera and Tania Medina.

In a shift of programming, the Fremantle-owned game show has been moved to Saturdays and Sundays to make room for 'Rueda la letra', a 'Rosco'-style game. This move comes amid legal tension, as ITV Studios has announced a lawsuit regarding the similarities between the 'Rosco' mechanics and previous formats used by Antena 3.
