Mediaset employee dies after falling from Cologno Monzese studios

A 27-year-old woman, identified as Marta, has died after falling from the Mediaset production center in Cologno Monzese. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, August 31, when the employee, who worked as a editorial secretary for Videonews, fell from the eighth floor of a building within the complex.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance and firefighters, responded to the scene. Despite being transported in critical condition to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza, she succumbed to her injuries later that evening.

Journalist Giuseppe Brindisi announced the death during a live broadcast of the program ‘Zona Bianca’ on Rete 4, offering a tribute to his colleague. Authorities, including the Carabinieri, are conducting investigations to determine whether the fall was accidental or a deliberate act.
