Mediaset to revive classic game shows after La Ruota della Fortuna success

The 2025 reboot of Italy’s long‑running quiz show “La Ruota della Fortuna” aired on 22 June 2026, featuring host Gerry Scotti and co‑host Samira Lui. The new edition attracted strong viewership and generated social‑media buzz.

Following that positive response, Mediaset’s Canale 5 is preparing to bring back several nostalgic quiz formats. A pilot episode of “Passaparola” has been recorded, and the network is also testing revivals of titles such as “Ok, il prezzo è giusto”, “Jeopardy” and “Rischiatutto”, with veteran presenter Max Giusti mentioned for the latter.
