MediaTek Dimensity chipsets spotted in new Vivo and iQOO device listings

Recent Geekbench listings have revealed new details regarding upcoming mobile devices powered by MediaTek chipsets. A device identified as Vivo V2573A, believed to be the iQOO Neo 11 Extreme Edition, appeared with a CPU configuration matching the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 but featuring an 11-core Mali-G1-Ultra MC11 GPU instead of the standard 12-core version.

This observation suggests a trend of GPU binning, where different devices using the same branded Dimensity 9500 chipset may possess varying GPU resources. Similar discrepancies have been noted in other devices, such as the Redmi Turbo 5 Max and Poco X8 Pro Max.

Additionally, an unnamed Vivo device (model V2603A) has been spotted on Geekbench and passed Chinese 3C and CMIIT certifications. The device is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and support for 44W charging. It is running Android 16 and may launch in China under either the Vivo or iQOO brand.
