Medical AI firms to present lung cancer advancements at WCLC 2026

Medical AI companies Coreline Soft and Lunit are set to present significant advancements in lung cancer screening and precision medicine at the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in Seoul.

Coreline Soft will showcase its expertise in global lung cancer screening and chest CT-based AI solutions. The company is focusing on the operational challenges of large-scale screening, such as tracking nodule changes over time and managing quality assurance. Coreline Soft has seen significant growth in markets like Germany and Australia, where it provides AI solutions to support national screening programs.

Lunit will present three research abstracts utilizing its ‘Lunit SCOPE IO’ AI biomarker platform. The research focuses on identifying tumor microenvironment characteristics in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) to improve precision medicine. Key studies include analyzing EGFR mutation subtypes, predicting pathological complete response (pCR) in patients receiving chemo-immunotherapy, and identifying differences in tumor microenvironments based on TP53 mutations. These findings aim to assist clinicians in designing more tailored treatment strategies for cancer patients.
