Medical assistant dies in Johor Bahru-Mersing road accident

Muhamad Amin Mukhtar, a 35-year-old medical assistant at Hospital Sultan Ismail (HSI) in Johor Bahru, died in a vehicle accident at Kilometer 80 of the Johor Bahru-Mersing road.

His sister, Rohana Mukhtar, shared that Amin had been serving at HSI for seven years and had recently expressed a strong desire to relocate to his hometown in Terengganu to live with his mother. He had planned to sell his home in Johor to purchase a new residence in Terengganu.

Amin was traveling from a wedding in Setiu, Terengganu, back to Johor in his Honda City when the accident occurred around 5:25 PM. His family noted that he had appeared unusually quiet and had apologized to his colleagues before his trip, which they now view as a premonition of his passing.
