Medical caravans provide free healthcare in Simileasca and Bozovici

Medical caravans are providing specialized healthcare services to remote and vulnerable communities in Romania.

In the Simileasca neighborhood, a medical caravan is scheduled for August 22, 2026, at Gymnasium School No. 14. The initiative aims to bring medical services closer to the community to encourage early detection and prevention. Eleven doctors will provide free consultations and medical analyses for approximately 150 beneficiaries, including 100 adults and 50 children. The event also includes interactive workshops for children organized with the ‘Școala din Parc’ project.

In Bozovici, Caraș-Severin county, the MedLife Medici’s Timișoara Hospital and Clinics team conducted a medical caravan on August 20. A team of specialists, including experts in obstetrics-gynecology, general surgery, gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology, general medicine, and orthopedics, provided medical evaluations and recommendations. The initiative was designed to facilitate access to specialized care for residents living far from medical centers.
