Medical College of Buenos Aires holds gynecology update course

The Medical College of the Province of Buenos Aires, District VI, held a session of its 2026 Gynecology Update Course at the ESEM auditorium in Junín. Led by Dr. Carolina Lopez and Dr. Laura Walker, the session focused on adolescent contraception, specifically discussing the choice between Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) and Short-Acting Reversible Contraception (SARC).

Additionally, Dr. Maria Elisa Moltoni presented on perimenopause, addressing contraception and quality of life during the transition. The event included clinical case discussions involving oncology professionals. More than 100 medical specialists, including gynecologists, obstetricians, and general practitioners, registered for the course, which provides points for specialist certification and recertification. Future sessions are scheduled for September 12 and October 21.
