Medical Counselling Committee manages NEET undergraduate admissions

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, manages the undergraduate counselling process for NEET in India. The committee is responsible for the national-level admission procedures for various medical and dental courses.

Key responsibilities include overseeing seat allotment for the All India Quota (AIQ) across government and private medical colleges, as well as central universities. The MCC conducts phased counselling rounds involving registration, choice filling, and seat allotment to ensure a transparent and efficient selection process based on student performance.
