Medical Day races held in Oaxaca and Torreón

The 39th edition of the Medical Day Athletic Race took place in Oaxaca, featuring approximately 1,800 participants. The event, which followed a 6,250-meter route through the capital, was led by honorees Miguel Ángel Nakamura López and Gabriela Velásquez Rosas. Top finishers included Antelmo Salina Olivera in the general male category and Mía del Rosario Ruiz Matías in the female guest category.

In Torreón, Coahuila, organizers announced the second edition of the Medical Day Race scheduled for November 15. Organized by the University Hospital of the Autonomous University of Coahuila (UAdeC), the event aims to raise funds for medical equipment and supplies. Following the success of the first edition, which funded the purchase of a defibrillator, this year's race will offer 3 and 5-kilometer distances to support the hospital's services.
