Medical education events scheduled in Brazil

Various medical training and scientific events are scheduled in Brazil. In Votuporanga, Unifev will host the III Workshop Interligas on November 7. Organized by the Academic League of Urgency and Emergency in Medicine (Lauem) in partnership with the Medical Academic Center of Votuporanga (Camev), the workshop focuses on the initial management of patients experiencing seizures. The program includes theoretical instruction by Professor Chaudes Ferreira da Silva Junior and practical training using realistic simulation mannequins to practice airway assessment, circulation, and medication administration.

In Patos de Minas, the Hospital Regional Antônio Dias (HRAD) will hold its 2026 Scientific Journey on October 26 and 27. The event features lectures and roundtables covering topics such as mental health in medical residency, the use of artificial intelligence in medical practice, and the importance of scientific production. The program includes a poster session and oral presentations of scientific works, with awards for the top three contributors.
