Medical emergencies reported in Los Mochis and Múzquiz
Two separate medical emergencies involving sudden fainting were reported in different regions.
In Los Mochis, Mexico, an 82-year-old man named Ignacio “V” suffered injuries to his eyebrow and arms after losing consciousness while walking near the intersection of Guillermo Prieto and Alfonso Cano streets. Local authorities confirmed the incident was not a traffic accident. He was stabilized by Red Cross paramedics and transported to the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social for medical evaluation.
In Múzquiz, Mexico, a 40-year-old man identified as Edgar “N” passed away after fainting outside a pharmacy. He was transported in critical condition to the Hospital General Hugo Héctor Martínez Tijerina. The State Attorney General's Office reported that preliminary findings suggest his death was related to pre-existing medical conditions and hypertension, rather than heat exposure, despite a heatwave occurring in the area.
