Medical emergencies reported involving adolescents in Campeche and La Banda

In Campeche, an adolescent lost consciousness while receiving vaccinations at a local center. Paramedics from the Emergency Medical Care Service (SAMU) responded to the scene near the city's main park. The incident was reportedly caused by a combination of fear of needles and the fact that the minor had not eaten breakfast. After being stabilized by health sector paramedics, the teenager did not require hospital transfer and was released into the care of her family.

In La Banda, a 15-year-old girl was hospitalized after ingesting eight clonazepam tablets, believed to belong to her grandmother. The minor was taken to the Centro Integral de Salud Banda (CISB), where she remained conscious. Following treatment for intoxication, she was referred to the psychiatry department for specialized evaluation. Local police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, noting reports of family conflicts involving the minor's parents.
