Several regional hospitals are addressing technical issues with critical diagnostic and treatment equipment.
In Argentina, the Ministry of Public Health announced the completion of an integral update to the magnetic resonator at Hospital Ángel C. Padilla. A final technical intervention on the external cooling system is underway, resulting in a five-day suspension of new appointments for magnetic resonance studies.
In Chile, the Hospital Guillermo Grant Benavente is working to restore a high-complexity radiotherapy machine.
