Medical innovation highlighted at Ruse forum and Expo 2027 preparations

The seventh edition of the Ruse Interventional Days forum is being held in Ruse, Bulgaria, from September 11 to 13, 2026. Organized by Medica Medical Centers, the University of Ruse ‘Angel Kanchev’, and the Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology, the event brings together over 300 participants to exchange knowledge on minimally invasive therapeutic approaches for cardiovascular diseases.

The forum features eight leading specialists from Europe and the United States, including experts from Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Poland, Serbia, and the USA. The multidisciplinary event includes interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and diagnostic imaging specialists.

In Serbia, the Dedinje National Institute for Heart and Blood Vessels has signed an agreement to participate in Expo 2027. The institute will showcase Serbian medical achievements and innovations at the specialized exhibition in Surčin, scheduled to take place from May 15 to August 15, 2027. This participation aims to connect the institute with international organizations and highlight its 50-year history of medical innovation.
